About Me
I am a software developer, and my name is Sam: I like to create cool things, solve problems, and touch everything that comes across my path of any tech. Yes, I'm a big nerd.
What I Do
During the day, I work as a software developer, coding, troubleshooting, and creating everything, back-end systems, and front-end interfaces (I am more of a visual person, so I certainly lean more towards the front-end). But being honest, the laptop does not close down at the end of the day. I am either building something, discovering things, or gnawing at a project on the side whether it is to do work or to have fun.
What I'm Into
- 3D Printing: I'm right into 3D printers. I can turn digital models into real-life things, whether it is a functional part, quick fix or just an in-fun design. It is also so satisfying that you create something, and it becomes a reality even layer after layer.
- FPV Drones: I make and fly my own FPV drones - and yes, the fast, maneuvering, dive-through-gaps type of flying. It is a combination of engineering, pace, and ability, which I can never have enough of. There is nothing like the rush of hitting a tight gap, or pulling off a cool trick.
- Tinkering With Tech: I am constantly trying out new tools, frameworks and hardware. Should it be programmable or hackable, then I am likely to be playing with it.
Why This Blog?
It is my small bit of the online world, my blog where I post the things I am creating, studying, and testing. Anticipate a blend of DIY, dev projects and perhaps some crashes (drone or otherwise). You are likely to feel at home, in case you feel like coding, making, or flying anything.
